AviateRight Instrument Package
Aviateright has an innovative instrument course. The course tailors itself
to your needs and level of expertise. Upon completion of the course a
check flight is arranged with one of the local FAA designated examiners.
The instrument rating gives you the skills necessary to fly in weather
that is less than VFR (visual flight rules). Your instrument training
will require more extensive brief and de-brief ground instruction. You
will begin training with basic Instrument orientation and scanning techniques
and steadily progress to approaches. Weather permitting we train in IFR
conditions as much as feasible.
The learning process is based upon a three pronged approach; classroom,
simulation, and airplane. The program price includes training in an airplane
and simulator for the minimum hours required to obtain your instrument
rating. You need to purchase any additional supplies and does not include
cross country pilot in command hours.
REQUIREMENTS TO OBTAIN AN INSTRUMENT RATING

TESTS: Pass an FAA Written test with a minimum score of 70, the cost
